About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electric Cable Network Installation Assistant to join our team at Gold Touch Electric Ltd. As an Electric Cable Network Installation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our installation team in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of electrical cable networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist installation team members in moving tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements and installation.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Work Environment

As an Electric Cable Network Installation Assistant, you will work outdoors and in confined spaces, often in urban areas, remote locations, and various other settings. You will be required to relocate to different job sites and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles are required.
