Job Summary:

The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for our restaurant. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus for our pastry and dessert offerings, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods, including cakes, pies, and breads.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of ingredients and supplies, and order new stock as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all pastry and dessert products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
