Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

The Pastry Cook will work in a restaurant environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and provide excellent customer service.
