About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Claims Adjuster to join our team at Xpera in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. As a key member of our Transportation, Equipment & Cargo (TEC) unit, you will be responsible for handling complex claims and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjusting complex transportation claims involving physical damage, theft, and environmental impairment
  • Developing and implementing effective claim strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution
  • Providing exceptional customer service and communicating with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on claim outcomes
  • Collaborating with our team of experts to identify opportunities for business development and growth

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation claims adjusting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex coverage conditions and exclusions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders
  • University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance
  • Adjuster's license or currently pursuing CIP designation
