Industrial Power Engineer Position in Port Coquitlam

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Power Engineer to join our team in Port Coquitlam. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our plant.
Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct daily pre-operational inspections, perform repairs as needed, and maintain all mechanical equipment and systems in the plant.
- Boiler Operation: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of high-pressure boilers, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot maintenance work with your team, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Welding and Other Tasks: Perform welding and other tasks as required, utilizing power and manual tools effectively.
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in maintenance work, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Skillset: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems, with the ability to use power and manual tools proficiently.
- Lifting Ability: Ability to lift at least 50lbs, considering the physically demanding nature of this role.
- Availability: Flexible shift availability, including rotational shifts as needed.
- Location: Must be located in or around the Port Coquitlam area.
