Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advertising Assistant to join our team at Active International. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our advertising operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate advertising rates and prepare bills to customers based on advertising services
  • Conduct research to support content production and detect grammatical or typographical errors for correction
  • Provide clients with information and perform routine clerical duties
  • Compile, verify, record and process applications, licences, permits, contracts, registrations, requisitions, and other forms and documents
  • Perform administrative tasks, including customer service and contact with clients and suppliers to resolve problems
  • Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services and participate in contract negotiations
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Area of Specialization: Advertising, Correspondence, Proofreading, Communications, Reports
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to handle heavy loads.
