Cement Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at Rosendo Silva Barboza. As a Cement Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks efficiently.
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Instruct apprentices and ensure they are properly trained.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to complete tasks accurately.
- Cement Finisher Trade Certification.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- Own transportation and necessary tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, and gloves.
This role requires working in a dusty, noisy, and outdoors environment, with exposure to heights and potential hazards.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English.
Work ScheduleThis is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week.
