Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our Electrical Services Department at Northern Dock Systems.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, as well as planning installations from blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including conduits and wiring
  • Plan installations from blueprints and specifications
  • Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic components
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits and other electrical conductor raceways
  • Splice and terminate electrical conductors
  • Assist fellow employees as requested and follow supplier/NDS warranty procedures
  • Load side electrical connections from disconnect provided, including all conduit and wiring required for equipment
  • Installation of all types of electrical conduits
Requirements:
  • At least 2-4 years of Electrician experience required
  • 309A or 442A and 309A license required
  • Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge is a must
  • Ability to operate a Boom truck
  • Arc welding may be required in this position
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract and a criminal reference check is required
  • Basic computer knowledge
