Position Responsibilities:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure a functional, safe, and comfortable healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be tasked with executing various electrical assignments, preventive maintenance, and renovation duties across the hospital facilities, adhering to established policies, procedures, and applicable building codes. Responsibilities include:

  • Repairing, testing, and inspecting essential systems such as call bell systems, ATS switch gear, generators, and life safety systems.
  • Conducting maintenance on kitchen equipment, paging systems, and air handling unit motor controls.
  • Upholding Health and Safety standards, ensuring compliance with OH&S Policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid 309A Province of Ontario Electrical License is mandatory.
  • Completion of an Apprenticeship program is preferred.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within a high-performing team.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints.
  • A consistent and positive work attendance record is essential.
