About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Automotive Damage Estimator to join our team at Bannister Collision Chilliwack. As a key member of our Body Shop team, you will be responsible for determining the extent of auto body damage and estimating the cost to make the necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promptly greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner while determining and assisting with their needs.
  • Conduct walk-around vehicle inspections while actively listening to customer explanations, concerns, and inquiries.
  • Prepare quotes for customers with clear descriptions for the job quoted.
  • Continuously check in with technicians for repair progress, update customers accordingly and explain the work completed.
  • Obtain quotes on parts and materials from outside suppliers.
  • Interact with vendors, insurance companies and business partners to execute work orders.
  • Resolve any customer concerns in a respectful and timely manner.
Requirements
  • I-CAR Platinum Auto Physical Damage certification is an asset.
  • Exceptionally customer-service driven.
  • Express Repair Certification
  • Mitchell experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods.
  • Ability to problem-solve and find creative solutions.
  • Self-driven to work independently with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Class 5 or N Driver's License and a clean driving record
