We are a vibrant and dynamic restaurant located in the heart of the city, serving up delicious Mexican cuisine to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
- Work collaboratively with the head chef and other kitchen staff to achieve menu goals and objectives
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
