Job Title: Apprentice Ski Instructor

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Snow School team as an Apprentice Ski Instructor. As an Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of certified ski instructors to develop your skiing and teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in executing ski lessons for children, tots, and adults, under the supervision of a certified ski pro.
  • Develop skiing and teaching skills within the Apprentice program.
  • Assist in lesson areas prior to lesson start, load and unload at lifts, and assist certified instructors to teach lessons to different ability levels and ages.
  • Perform other duties, such as terrain set and tear down, greeting customers in the Rossignol Experience Centre, and boot-fitting in the rental shop.
Program Details:

Our Apprentice Ski Instructor program will help you increase your level of professionalism, provide a training plan and progress reports to help you achieve your level 1 certification, and introduce you to the fun world of being a ski instructor.

You will be required to attend all development training sessions and lesson shadows to meet the requirements of the program and be eligible to take the level 1 exam.

Availability:

Development training sessions and lesson shadows will be held on the following Saturdays: January 11th, 18th, 25th, February 1st, 8th, 22nd, March 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd.
