About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painters and Decorators Supervisor to join our team at Mastercraft Cabinet and Painting LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 painters and decorators to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Training and Development
    • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
    • Train or arrange for training to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Recruitment and Staffing
    • Recruit and hire new team members and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all team members follow health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
    • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
