Job Title: Occupational Therapist I

This exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Calgary Zone Integrated Home Care Program, Adults Team. As a member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will work within the full scope of your practice to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each client
  • Provide direct care and support to clients and their families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and services
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on occupational performance and self-care

Requirements:

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program
  • Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
  • Strong clinical background in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Driver's License and a vehicle in good repair
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous community-related experience
