About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Carewest Innovative Healthcare. As a key member of our rehabilitation and recovery units, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide focused assessment, treatment, and discharge planning to clients on our rehabilitation and recovery units.
  • Contribute to our residents' quality of life by providing appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence.
  • Provide clinical supervision to support staff and students, as needed.
Program Summary

The Enhanced Regional Community Transition Program (ERCTP) is a short-stay restorative care program that supports medically stable adults who do not require acute-care level services. As an Occupational Therapist on this program, you will work with clients to assess, recuperate, and prepare them for return to the community.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
  • Eligibility for membership in CAOT.
  • AADL Authorizer is an asset.
