We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Executive to join our team at Basetwo, a fast-growing Toronto-based startup backed by top VCs in the Boston, New York, and Bay Area ecosystems. Our innovative AI co-pilot platform helps engineers from Fortune 500 chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize asset downtime.

The Role

This account executive role will focus on selling our SaaS platform to pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers in the US. You will be responsible for building a pipeline, owning a revenue target, and collaborating with our Head of Sales/co-founder. To succeed, you should have a proven track record in software sales, particularly in enterprise-level relationships within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell our SaaS platform to new customers, focusing on acquiring forward-thinking companies in North America
  • Build a robust sales pipeline with support from our SDR and marketing teams
  • Develop a deep understanding of our platform and communicate its value proposition to potential customers
  • Collaborate with our executive team to create accurate sales forecasts and identify new revenue growth opportunities
  • Pursue conferences, webinars, and industry events to establish market presence and foster relationships
  • Maintain timely records of sales activities and efforts in Hubspot (our CRM)
  • Engage regularly with our executive team to review priorities, reflect on accomplishments, and address challenges
Requirements:
  • A strong network within the pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing industries
  • Motivation and enthusiasm for AI applications and tech startups
  • Proven ability to establish influential relationships with customers and prospects, including executive-level business owners
  • Superior presentation skills in virtual and live settings, including large and small group presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and question effectively across various audiences
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on purposeful and accurate writing
  • Fluency in English required

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience
