Nurse Specialist

Casa Mia Care Ltd is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for monitoring patients, advising physicians of any changes in their condition, and addressing and documenting symptoms and changes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and relevant experience in geriatric care. You will be working in a nursing home/home for the aged setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring patients and advising physicians of any changes in their condition
- Addressing and documenting symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
- Assessing patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Dispensing and administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Requirements:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
- CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
- Immunization records and tuberculosis test
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in geriatric care
