Job Summary

We are seeking a Nurse Infusion Specialist with experience in venous access devices to join our Medical Daycare team at Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC. As a Nurse Infusion Specialist, you will be responsible for providing intravenous therapy to clients in a safe and effective manner, enhancing quality of life from the client's perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intravenous therapy to clients in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Enhance quality of life from the client's perspective.
  • Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare providers and members of the Infusion Program.
  • Maintain and advance your own clinical competence.
  • Participate on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Completion of one year of experience with venous access devices.
