Drywall Installation Job Description

At Mag Drywall 2008 Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks.
