Tourism Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tourism Development Specialist. As a key member of our department, you will play a crucial role in promoting the growth and development of Yukon's tourism industry.
About the Role:
- Provide advice and support to tourism businesses, organizations, and communities to foster tourism development.
- Collaborate closely with the Yukon tourism industry to conduct research, analyze data, and program workshops tailored to industry needs.
- Help organize and support key Department programs, such as the Rugged Apprentices program and the Go Digital Tourism Summit.

Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in tourism, business administration, commerce, marketing, economic development, or related field.
- Experience with research and report writing is an asset.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including diplomacy.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, situations, and demands by establishing critical timelines and prioritizing actions.
