Inventory Control Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team at Accoravillage. As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring seamless warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through robust cycle count processes and continuous user training.
  • Investigate and escalate inventory discrepancies, refining procedures to improve quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure accurate setup, maintenance, and adherence to Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes.
  • Schedule and coordinate planned cycle counts, count-near-zero, and physical counts according to internal policies and customer requirements.
  • Investigate inventory variances, adjust records as necessary, and recommend corrective action.
  • Coordinate control of damaged and defective product, ensuring inventory changes are properly processed.
  • Provide feedback and reports to management regarding operational accuracy from audits, counts, and system-related user errors.
  • Communicate with management and customers regarding inventory issues, including existence, cause, and resolution of variances.
  • Offer suggestions for inventory and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to control inventory flow and placement for maximum efficiency.
  • Report inventory control activity and performance results as defined by management and customer service level agreements.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date inventory control procedures.
  • Assist in training team members on operations SOPs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Inventory Control using a Warehouse Management System, preferably Red Prairie (RP).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Service-oriented with strong customer service skills and commitment to quality of work.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to seek alternative solutions.
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly and work under time pressures.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and stand throughout the day.
  • Ability to be flexible in daily work assignments.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members.
  • Thorough knowledge and adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Completion of secondary school is preferred.
