This 100% remote position offers the opportunity to work with an international team on AA or AAA games in Unreal Engine.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Foster a high-performing development culture by providing continuous feedback, support, transparency, and empowerment.
  2. Collaborate with Endava Games leadership, clients, and craft leads to establish and maintain a project's vision, feature set, scope, staffing plan, schedule, and budget.
  3. Champion the product vision with the team to maintain and drive energy, enthusiasm, and urgency.
  4. Ensure projects are delivered on time, milestone goals are set and achieved, and the team meets the ship date target while hitting quality and budget goals.
  5. Oversee and manage budgets for projects and teams, partnering with industry leadership and PMO to ensure a healthy P&L.
  6. Effectively communicate with all departments about project aspects and facilitate communication among internal disciplines.
  7. Make decisive day-to-day problem-solving decisions while keeping a clear focus on the overall vision.
  8. Lay out the overall development plan for projects, provide input for feature design, mechanics, and content pipeline, and nurture the project from concept through implementation to ship.
  9. Manage emerging development issues, predict and avoid problems, troubleshoot decisively, and provide conflict resolution as needed.
  10. Review and analyze documents, task lists, and interim builds from the team, create and modify schedules as needed, and organize reports for development teams based on feedback from stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A passion for playing and making video games across various genres.
  2. No less than 10 years of experience working in AAA game development.
  3. A track record of shipping at least two AAA titles on PC and/or consoles through the full development cycle from concept to ship.
  4. Exceptional risk management skills aligned with effective mitigation techniques to provide realistic solutions to emerging problems.
  5. The ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of game development trends and industry developments, as well as adapt to clients' needs.
  6. Demonstrable experience leading and motivating external and internal staff while championing a project.
  7. A commitment to improving your own skillset and those of your teammates.
  8. A desire to champion and support a healthy development team.
