The Office of the CTO at Score Media and Gaming Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in driving strategic technical initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate research and synthesize insights into specific technical domains to inform technical prioritization decisions.
- Drive initiatives that span across the organization, collaborating with leaders and teams to achieve common goals.
- Help the CTO understand key industry technical and social trends, and other research priorities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a can-do culture that aligns resources, priorities, and processes for success.
- Produce reading material for the CTO and senior engineering leaders, summarizing key points and highlighting focus areas for deep processing.
- 15+ years of Technical Program Management and/or Software Engineering experience.
- Experience building software for customers using bleeding-edge technologies.
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related Engineering fields preferred.
- Proven customer-facing experience, with startup experience considered an asset.
- Thorough understanding of cloud computing, cloud data center design, and distributed solution needs in high-scale scenarios.
- Able to build bridges and assist the CTO in developing relationships with external industry and academic thought leaders.
