Technical Advisor to CTO

The Office of the CTO at Score Media and Gaming Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in driving technical initiatives and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate research and synthesize insights into specific technical domains to inform CTO's decisions
  • Drive initiatives that span across the organization, collaborating with leaders and teams to achieve common goals
  • Help the CTO with technical prioritization, understanding industry trends, and research priorities
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a can-do culture that aligns resources and priorities
  • Produce reading materials for the CTO and senior engineering leaders, summarizing key points and prioritizing content
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of Technical Program Management and/or Software Engineering experience
  • Experience building software for customers using bleeding-edge technologies
  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related Engineering fields preferred
  • Proven customer-facing experience, with startup experience considered an asset
  • Thorough understanding of cloud computing, cloud data center design, and distributed solution needs in high-scale scenarios
  • Able to build bridges and assist the CTO in developing relationships with external industry and academic thought leaders
