Senior Ship Repair Scheduler

Job Summary:

Seaspan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Ship Repair Scheduler to lead schedule analysis of ship repair programs and enhance planning processes in the Program Controls department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules using contract documentation
  • Ensure accurate schedule budgets and collaborate with various teams for schedule accuracy
  • Mentor and guide the Planning & Scheduling team
  • Provide regular reports on efficiency, forecasting, and schedule performance
  • Create resource profiles and baseline schedules
  • Support the preparation of EVMS reports
  • Review and analyze department metrics and SOPs

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in engineering or business, 8+ years of ship repair scheduling experience, and proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project are required. Certification in Planning, Production Control, or Project Management is desirable.
