Maintenance Scheduler Job Description

Thales Canada is seeking a skilled Maintenance Scheduler to provide work package and scheduling support to the Ship Maintenance Lead and the Service Delivery Team in planning and organizing all required routines while developing an integrated schedule for multiple Work Periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports and updates on the schedule progression and adherence.
  • Coordinate and communicate with suppliers and waterfront service team.
  • Manage the preparation, monitoring, and maintenance of Work Period work lists and schedules.
  • Implement data-driven approaches to analyze maintenance performance and identify trends that could improve the efficiency of a work period.
Requirements:
  • Strong computer literacy, with proven experience with Microsoft products especially Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience and knowledge with an ERP or EAM (SAP and Maximo preferred).
  • Minimum two years of experience scheduling and/or planning projects.
  • Minimum two years of previous experience working within military or Marine industry as it relates to Shipbuilding, ship repair, or ship maintenance desirable.
