Job Summary:

Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating repair and maintenance service, whole goods, time and material, NDAs, and other similar contracts, in French and English, received from customers to execution while working directly with contract team members, the legal function, internal stakeholders, and sales partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the contract administration process, responding to inbound requests, contract review and interpretation, drafting contract documents including amendments, addendums, contract file maintenance, and maintaining confidentiality of work material.
  • Maintain and enhance our forms and procedures in support of Cummins initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Must speak French.
  • Legal degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience (Bachelors preferred).
  • One to three years' experience directly related to redlining and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
  • Working knowledge of the elements of a contract and a variety of contract types (service, subcontracts, purchase orders, etc..).
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation skills.
  • Have a collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and self-starter.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines independently.
