At ECCO Supply, we are seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in helping us grow our sales of mechanical equipment, grilles, and other related products to our Bid & Spec customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

General Duties:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to ECCO's customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of support and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Adhere to ECCO's Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assist in the success of ECCO's Safety Program by suggesting improvements and setting a good example.

Commercial Estimator:

  • Complete engineered drawing take-offs of commercial grilles/registers/diffusers (GRD) & mechanical equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assemble accurate and timely tenders, including quantities and sell prices for commercial GRD & mechanical equipment.
  • Project manage successful job tenders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Order project materials and equipment as required, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Follow up and track shipments, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries as per client specifications.
  • Process invoices on a regular basis, ensuring correct and accurate pricing.
  • Identify and solicit potential clients, expanding ECCO's customer base.
  • Assist and share in customer sales and technical calls, providing expert support and guidance.
  • Promote and secure business from all aspects of the HVAC industry, driving sales growth and revenue.
  • Ensure all customers are treated in a professional manner, addressing queries and disputes promptly.
  • Provide timely feedback to supervisor regarding performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Provide competitive pricing on all quotes submitted to clients, while maintaining maximum profit margin and market share.
  • Maintain accurate records of all project tender quotations and activity reports submitted.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Participate in annual inventory count, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory levels.
  • Assist in trade shows offered by ECCO Supply, suppliers, and/or customers, promoting ECCO's products and services.
  • Participate in industry-related associations, staying informed about industry developments and best practices.
  • Work closely under the supervision of more senior ECCO estimators, receiving mentoring and coaching to ensure success.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management, contributing to the success of ECCO Supply.
