About the Role

ECCO Supply is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales and business development team, you will be responsible for estimating and quoting commercial projects, building relationships with clients, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimation and Quoting
    • Complete engineered drawing take-offs of commercial grilles, registers, and diffusers (GRD) and mechanical equipment
    • Assemble accurate and timely tenders, including quantities and sell prices for commercial GRD and mechanical equipment
    • Project management once successful job tenders have been awarded
  • Business Development
    • Identify and solicit potential clients
    • Assist and share in customer sales and technical calls requiring assistance
    • Promote and secure business from all aspects of the HVAC industry
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure all customers are treated in a professional manner and attend to queries, disputes, etc. promptly
    • Provide timely feedback to supervisor regarding performance
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of all project tender quotations and activity reports submitted
    • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
    • Participate in annual inventory count
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial estimation and sales
  • Strong knowledge of commercial GRD and mechanical equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
