About the Role

ECCO Supply is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales and business development team, you will be responsible for estimating and quoting mechanical equipment and related products to our bid and spec customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ECCO's customers, ensuring they receive superior support and service.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with co-workers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with ECCO's Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from take-off to completion, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products and services.
  • Business Development: Identify and solicit new business opportunities, promoting ECCO Supply's products and services to the HVAC industry.
  • Estimation and Quoting: Complete accurate and timely estimates and quotes for mechanical equipment and related products.
  • Inventory Management: Participate in annual inventory counts and maintain accurate records of project tender quotations and activity reports.
  • Expense Control: Control expenses to meet budget guidelines, ensuring maximum profit margin and market share.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial estimation and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and related products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
