About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our Helios Media Platform team at Loblaw Digital. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver complex internal and external user-facing tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Frame problems and opportunities through research and data analysis, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Design and develop user-centered solutions, considering the needs of both customers and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to sequence work and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to help colleagues reach a shared understanding of problems and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of our design system, ensuring consistency and quality across all digital products.
  • Test and learn through usability testing and generative research, refining designs and informing future solutions.
  • Hand-off designs to engineers, ensuring clear and effective implementation.
  • Measure and track the performance of designs post-launch, optimizing and iterating based on data.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and discussions.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience.
  • Ability to work with data and analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, with multiple designers, product managers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance conflicting stakeholder needs and complex business operational needs.
