About the Role:

At Platform Ldn, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cross-Platform Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, cross-platform mobile and desktop applications using frameworks like React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, or other relevant tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cross-platform mobile and desktop applications that meet the needs of our target audience.
  • Collaborate with our UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces and intuitive user experiences.
  • Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and external services into our applications to enhance functionality and provide a seamless user experience.
  • Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to identify and resolve issues.
  • Optimize the application's performance and responsiveness, addressing issues related to speed, responsiveness, and resource consumption.
  • Implement security best practices to protect user data and application integrity.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the codebase, project specifications, and development processes.
  • Work closely with other developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in cross-platform development, with proficiency in relevant frameworks and languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Familiarity with mobile and desktop application design principles and UI/UX best practices.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
