Senior Business Analyst for Tolling and Traffic Management

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Abacus Service Corporation. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned business analyst to leverage their expertise in tolling and traffic management projects.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide senior business analyst expertise on overall tolling and traffic management projects, collaborating with Project Managers, stakeholders, and leadership. They will develop in-depth knowledge of each project's workstream to aid in current state analysis and future state design/development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of business rules and processes for tolling and traffic management projects
- Develop documentation to communicate and validate information with stakeholders
- Help stakeholders define business requirements and workflow, data requirements and flow, key decisions, required approvals, and new roles and responsibilities
- Implement requirements management, system specification templates, and other tools for tracking business and technical requirements, testing, and change control processes
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong facilitation skills to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task, and workflow analysis
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple project deadlines
- Ability to map out complex processes, analyze data, and provide recommendations and opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement continuous improvements in business processes
- Flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new industries and technologies
- A strong teamwork orientation and the ability to work with cross-functional teams at all management levels
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Visio
Desirable Qualifications:
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification and experience working in government (federal/provincial/municipal/crown corporation) environments are desirable.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
