About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Skyway Brands Ontario Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient kitchen operations to meet production schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality dishes and exceptional customer service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources
  • Recruit and hire food service staff, ensuring a diverse and skilled team
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, sales, and inventory management
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and recipes, staying up-to-date with culinary trends and innovations
  • Establish and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring seamless inventory management
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
