Fund Administration Director

At MUFG Investor Services, we're seeking a highly skilled Director, Asset Management to join our team. As a key member of our Client Operations, Private Equity team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional fund accounting and administration services to our hedge fund clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Fund Accountants in delivering accounting and administration services to customers
- Work with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to customers
- Approve fee schedules and investor allocations, ensuring compliance with applicable fund documents
- Review and sign schedules, reports, and files to ensure compliance with organization controls
- Resource allocation to ensure service level agreements are met
- Approve payment of fund expenses and help with preparation and review of audited financial statements
- Review reporting for regulatory authorities and establish fund or client-specific procedures
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education/University Degree with a concentration in finance or accounting
- Demonstrable experience working in the fund administration industry with experience managing staff
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with fund accounting software Geneva, Investran, or Yardi
- Completion or interest in a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CFA)
