About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at LRO Staffing as a Part-time HR Manager. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing HR functions and acting as the liaison between senior management and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  2. Assist managers with setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and creating professional development plans.
  3. Promote a respectful and inclusive workplace culture, fostering a positive work environment.
  4. Manage the recruitment process, from identifying candidates to conducting interviews and onboarding.
  5. Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment.
  6. Maintain and manage HR records and systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  7. Analyze HR metrics and report findings to the Senior Management Team, providing actionable insights.
  8. Administer benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  9. Advise on career development and facilitate open communication across the organization, promoting a culture of growth and development.

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  2. Human Resources Professional Certification preferred.
  3. A minimum of eight years of experience in a HR Generalist role.
  4. In-depth knowledge of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  5. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
  8. Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset.
