Improve Patient Outcomes in a Fast-Paced NICU Setting

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Occupational Therapist to join our team at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre. As a specialist in occupational therapy, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to neonates and their families.

About the Role

  • Provide advanced occupational therapy assessments and interventions in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and MotherBaby Care program.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client/patient needs and develop effective treatment programs to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients/patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
  • Two (2) years of recent related experience, including one (1) year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
