About the Role
As a Payments and Data Analyst for Royal Bank of Canada, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing supplier payments globally. Working closely with business partners, including Reporting and Accounts Payable, you will be the central hub for financial expertise related to supplier relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of supplier invoicing while understanding internal and external operations
- Manage internal processes to ensure proper expense recognition within financial systems, including significant reconciliation requirements
- Serve as the primary repository for supplier financial knowledge, engaging in executive strategic decision-making
- Identify cost management initiatives and act as the lead financial advisor for supplier projects, including managing several financial benefit models
- Analyze market data and provide guidance to business groups

Your Qualifications
- 2-4 years+ experience in operations, business, and financial analysis
- 1 year+ project management experience
- Proficiency in Vendor Management Systems, e.g. Beeline, Fieldglass, Emptoris
- Bachelor degree, preferably in a business or technical field
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and Office applications; Power BI
- Strong ability to work independently and build relationships
