Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst Expert to join our team at Flexstaf IT. In this role, you will be responsible for working on various data analytic day-to-day operational maintenance tasks to develop, debug, and maintain Informatica software applications and business objects solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Unit Support:
    • You will act as the Enterprise Information department's Data Analytics expert, understanding and extracting meaning from complex data relationships and developing reports to enable effective use of the resulting knowledge.
    • You will utilize data models to generate profiles that allow us to customize our service offerings to the specific needs of each Member based on their profile.
    • You will develop predictive modeling and trend analysis tools that anticipate Member needs and provide real-time solutions to meet those needs.
    • You will provide training support for the use of new reports and tools.
  • Data Warehouse and ETL:
    • You will design, develop, implement, and support corporate data warehouse systems.
    • You will be responsible for technical design of data warehouse storage, ETL, and staging environments.
    • You will define user interfaces for support of ETL procedures.
    • You will design, develop, and implement corporate reporting.
    • You will provide production support to business users.
  • Reporting / Analytics:
    • You will lead the development and enhancement of reporting services to encompass greater use of forward-looking predictive elements.
    • You will assist with data gathering strategies to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
    • You will identify new opportunities for data gathering to fill gaps in existing models and/or enhance models to drive higher levels of performance throughout the organization.
    • You will design and enhance data models to analyze and predict future Member behaviors, enabling us to proactively meet client needs.
  • Operational Maintenance/Support:
    • You will monitor and ensure successful execution of all daily scheduled Informatica workflows and jobs.
    • You will proactively identify and resolve job failures or performance issues to maintain workflow and job completion.
    • You will conduct root cause analysis and short- and long-term remediation to prevent recurring issues.
    • You will identify opportunities to enhance processes and introduce automation to reduce manual interventions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum education level of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience with data warehousing and analytics concepts and software tools.
  • Proficiency in ETL tool Informatica.
  • A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience with relational databases.
  • A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience with software methodology.
  • Agile methodology experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
