Registered Care Aide

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre. As a Registered Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of client care in accordance with established policies, standards, and procedures.
- Work under the functional direction of a Registered Nurse or other designate and in cooperation with interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide physical and emotional support to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
