Registered Care Aide

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients in the acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of client care in accordance with established policies, standards, and procedures.
- Work under the functional direction of a Registered Nurse or other designate and in cooperation with interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
