Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of client care in accordance with established policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Work under the functional direction of a Registered Nurse or other designate to provide patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care skills.
Requirements
  • Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
