Logistics Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Director to lead our customer's operations in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's logistics strategy, managing storage, transportation, and distribution operations, and supervising a logistics team of 20 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company's logistics strategy to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage storage, transportation, and distribution operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Supervise a logistics team of 20 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and engagement.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance logistics processes and optimize workflows.
- Oversee transportation operations, including negotiating rates with service providers and evaluating logistics performance.
- Ensure compliance and management of customs documentation for international shipments.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to optimize logistics costs and enhance service quality.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to improve processes and ensure an efficient supply chain.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or distribution.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in logistics management tools and software.
- Team-oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills.
