Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Position in a Welcoming Community Setting

We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Penticton Regional Hospital, offering an excellent opportunity to practice in a welcoming community setting with endless lifestyle opportunities.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves providing comprehensive, quality client-centered care to individuals and their families as part of our dedicated team of 7 psychiatrists. The Inpatient Psychiatric Unit (IPU) offers Acute Mental Health and Substance Use services, while our integrated Adult Mental Health programs include Short Term Counseling, Community Case Management, Vocational Rehabilitation, Physical Activation, Anxiety and Depression, DBT groups, Seniors Mental Health, and Rural Outreach.
The role also involves working with our community child and youth mental health program, featuring individual counselling, group counselling, DBT program, and integrated psychiatric services. You will have the opportunity to teach medical students, participate in quality improvement and program development activities, and contribute to leadership development through Interior Health's NAVIG8 Program.

Compensation PackageThis position comes with an estimated gross income of $300,000-$400,000, plus MOCAP level 2 compensation.
Qualifications and Requirements- Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
- Doctorate in Medicine
- Eligible for licensure with CPSBC; Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory
