About the Opportunity

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll and benefits processes.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll for all hourly paid employees, including verification of reports and transmission to ADP.
  • Issue Record of Employment (ROE) and ensure employee benefits are terminated according to company policy.
  • Prepare monthly reports and maintain accurate records of employee pension files.
  • Reconcile payroll and benefit accounts on a monthly basis.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education preferred, with 3+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks and meet target dates.
  • Must be able to read and understand Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Quality System Procedures (QSP).

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
