About the Role:
In this People Manager role, you will be responsible for managing a talented team of engineers working on software and firmware development for PFA technology. You will lead Software/Firmware teams in the achievement of organizational and functional goals, guiding, coaching, directing, and developing direct reports. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with senior technical leaders, project management, and inter-disciplinary partners to develop detailed work plans, objectives, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant degree, with experience in software/firmware development (C/C++, embedded systems, RTOS) and understanding of hardware/software integration. You should have 7+ years of work experience in software or hardware engineering and 4+ years of experience in leading Software/Firmware teams. Additionally, you should have experience in medical device or other highly regulated industries, as well as demonstrated strong cross-functional collaboration, influence without authority, and project/task management enabling highly effective teams.
