The position you are applying for is as a R&D Project Manager within our Electrification, Smart Building division. As a key member of our team, you will develop or create products, systems, services, or technologies for our Emergency Lighting business line by leading/facilitating the end-to-end execution of one or more Research and Development (R&D) projects.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Project Team Leadership: Lead and support local and cross-functional project teams, including associate R&D project managers, in projects with limited complexity and/or sub-projects of a complex project.
- Project Management: Accountable for the end-to-end planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of assigned project(s).
- Value Management: Ensure team understanding of customer value in the projects and act to ensure customer satisfaction and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Project Execution and Control: Ensure that project activities are effectively prioritized, estimated, and planned.
- Manage Uncertainties and Risks: Ensure transparency around change requests, unforeseen results/events and identified risks.
- Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the key contact and escalation point for project stakeholders.
- Mentoring and Coaching: Coach and mentor teams, associate R&D project managers, and other stakeholders in good project execution/development practices and mindsets.
- Collaboration: Model and promote team collaboration within R&D, as well as between R&D and Product Management and other functions/stakeholders.
- Projects, Processes, and Tools: Ensure projects follow sound methodology and execution practices, aligned with desired development model.
