Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated individual who can provide clinical assessments, planning, treatment, and counselling services to children and their families in a First Nation community. The successful candidate will have a minimum two-year Social Work Diploma or Diploma in a related field and/or five years' experience working in a Social Service field in a First Nation Community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health and addictions counselling services to children and their families with a wholistic approach.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each family's needs.
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum two-year Social Work Diploma or Diploma in a related field and/or five years' experience working in a Social Service field in a First Nation Community.
  • Two or more years of experience in the provision of counselling services to Anishinabek children, youth or their families.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • A valid Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate and a valid class G Driver's License.
  • Access to a reliable, personal vehicle and $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $25.08 - $32.73 per hour, along with 32.5 hours of work per week. Additional benefits include medical and up-to-date immunization recommended but not mandatory.
