Clinical Therapist for Anishinabek Children and Families

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Anishinabek Employment & Training Services. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessments, planning, treatment, and counseling services to children and their families in a holistic approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify mental health and addiction needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to support children and families in achieving their goals
- Consult with community organizations and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Social Work or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a social service field, preferably in a First Nation community
- Experience working with Anishinabek children, youth, and families an asset
- Certification in areas such as crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and cultural sensitivity an asset
