Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a school or educational institution setting. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering excellent care and a passion for working with students and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to students and staff in a school or educational institution setting
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
Work Environment

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
